The Arizer Air is a portable vaporizer and the newer, slimmer version of their previous model the Arizer Solo. It features a replaceable battery, a removable stem, and a very sleek appearance. The Air is perfect for portable use or transport. Additionally, it is fairly simple to use, while still giving you numerous options in regard to temperature and herb uses.
When you first buy your new Arizer Air, you’ll need to charge it fully before you use it. This can be done simply with the charger that comes in the box with the vape. After this initial charging, the LED light (located above the up/down button) will glow a solid red color to let you know that the battery is low and in need of charging. This same light will blink green while it is charging, then turn a solid green to indicate that the battery is fully charged and ready for use.
A great feature of the Arizer Air is its ability to replace its already used battery with another fully charged battery. This makes on-the-go vaping very easy, as you can just replace the battery when it dies instead of having to charge it. Of course, you’ll have to make sure you keep both batteries charged, but having the extra battery is a wonderful option for when you don’t have the time to charge your vape.
Using the Arizer Air
This vaporizer requires a slightly different process the first time you use it, as compared to its later use. Before you ever vape with the Air, turn it on and set it to the highest temperature setting. Let it sit for a few minutes, then insert the stem into the top. Having the vape warm up first helps the stem go in easier and smoother, making your entire experience better. You may want to do this the first few times you use your new vape, so that the stem fits in properly. After the first few sessions, however, you can use the Air regularly.
So how do you use the Arizer Air regularly? Press and hold the up/down button on the outside of the vape (aim for the center of this button) for about three seconds to turn the vape on or off. You should see the LED light blink, indicating that the Air is turning on. Now you are ready to load your herbs! This process is a bit different from most other vapes. The easiest way to load is to put your herbs into the larger, slightly raised end of the stem. Then take the cover off of the chamber on the top and place the stem inside. It should fit rather snugly.
The Arizer Air has five temperature settings, each indicated by a different color light. Starting from the lowest temperature, the settings are blue, white, green, yellow, and red. Pressing the up button will raise the temperature and, of course, pressing the down button will decrease the temperature. You can move freely between the five temperature settings. When you switch between temperatures, the bottom light will blink blue to show that the vape is heating up to the chosen temperature. Wait until this light stops blinking before you continue vaping. This bottom light will then glow a solid blue, regardless of the set temperature. Another cool feature is the recall temperature option. If you want to go back to the temperature you used the last time vaping with the Air, press the down button for two seconds. This is incredibly helpful and useful once you find your own perfect temperature setting.
As I mentioned earlier, there are five temperature settings on the Arizer Air, each indicated by a different color:
Blue: 356 degrees Fahrenheit
White: 374 degrees Fahrenheit
Green: 392 degrees Fahrenheit
Orange: 401 degrees Fahrenheit
Red: 410 degrees Fahrenheit
Everyone has a unique preference when it comes to temperature, though none is really better than the others. Experimentation is the best way to determine which setting you like best. Separate temperatures will also be better depending on what kind of herb you are vaping, so play around with it and have fun!
As with most vapes, the green (middle) temperature setting is pretty standard. You get a decent amount of vapor, and the flavor is present but not too overpowering. I hardly ever use the lowest temperature setting (blue) because it doesn’t produce much vapor and doesn’t seem to vape very well. However, there is a drastic difference between the blue and white temperature settings, which you will probably notice. The vapor production gets better and better with each increasing temperature, ending with a bang at the highest setting. I have seen more vapor using other vapes, but this is not always a good indicator of the effects of the vape. The Arizer Air, while not producing an enormous amount of vapor, is very efficient.
Price & Warranty
This vaporizer is small, portable, and overall wonderful at what it does. The simple color choices of black and silver make it quite inconspicuous; perfect for on-the-go. The replaceable battery is definitely one of the biggest advantages of the Arizer Air, as this is not seen often in other vapes and can be really useful. Arizer generally has great products, and the Air is certainly no exception.
